James Corden, who just won a Tony Award for his starring role in One Man, Two Guvnors, will play unlikely Britain’s Got Talent winner Paul Potts in the new film One Chance, according to the U.K.'s Daily Mail.
Potts is an English tenor who was making a living as a mobile phone salesman before winning the first season of reality talent competition Britain’s Got Talent, wowing audiences with his rendition of “Nessun Dorma” from Turandot. His first album, also called One Chance, was released in 2007 and reached #1 on the U.K. albums chart.
In addition to starring in the film, Corden is reportedly working on its screenplay with The Devil Wears Prada director David Frankel, and shooting will begin in October. Check out Potts' famed "Nessun Dorma" performance below!
